Distinctive markings located every 1-1/2in and 2-1/2in apart are perfect for cutting fabric strips. Common cuts for patterns, such as eighths, quarters, and thirds of a yard, are also marked. One side features a 1in grid with 1/8in markings, with all numbers printed outside the grid so they remain visible while you work. Popular 1‑1/2in cuts are highlighted with white stars, and 2‑1/2in cuts are marked with white squares for quick reference during both horizontal and vertical cutting. Yardage markings from 1/8 yard through 2/3 yard are included, and 45‑degree and 60‑degree diagonal lines support accurate angle trimming.

  The reverse side is designed specifically for use with the Creative Grids® Stripology® rulers. This side includes 1in vertical lines, 1/2in horizontal lines, and 45‑degree diagonal lines. The simplified layout keeps the surface uncluttered so fabric and rulers can be aligned cleanly along the spaced 1/2in horizontal grid lines.
